Shiv is a management graduate from the London Business School and has over 25 years of experience in the executive search and selection industry.

He has led ABC Consultants for the past 18 years with a consistent and undivided focus, resulting in the firm emerging as India’s premier leadership hiring and talent solutions organisation. ABC Consultants has over 150 professionals with offices in 8 cities in India. Under his leadership, ABC Consultants has developed deep domain expertise in 21 industry verticals and built a robust repertoire of building strong and diverse leadership teams across industries.

Shiv is a second generation entrepreneur and joined ABC Consultants in 1996, initially in the Consumer & Services vertical. He took over as CEO of ABC Consultants in 2005 and the organisation tripled its revenue within a span of 5 years. He was an integral part of the team that oversaw a successful JV with Manpower Inc. post which he moved the firm from a single service to a multi-product one and launched 5 new businesses (FlexAbility, HeadCount, HeadHonchos, Chairman’s High Circle & Amplify) in the past 8 years.

An avid cricket aficionado and art collector, Shiv was the lead guitarist in a rock band in his younger days. He has featured on Young Turks on CNBC and won the Vodafone Drive into the Big League contest which got ABC’s logo prominently displayed on Lewis Hamilton’s McLaren Mercedes Formula One car (for free!). Shiv is an Independent Director on the board of Dr. Agarwal’s Healthcare Limited, a Chennai headquartered chain of eye hospitals. He is a member of FICCI’s National Executive Committee. He is a Founder and Sponsor at Ashoka University. Shiv is also an active member and served on the board of the Delhi Chapter of Young Professionals Organization (YPO).
